I am blessed this year to be a part of The Messenger staff as a writer, designer, and photographer covering discipleship, as well as fine arts. God has given me a passion for photography and writing, as well as traveling. I intend to use this position to glorify God however possible.

My name is Heather Wroth, and I serve as Photo Editor and discipleship writer for The Messenger. This is my third year on staff, and my senior year at CCA. I shoot with a Cannon Rebel, bake cupcakes on a weekly basis, am a Pinterest addict and sing Disney songs more than the average 3 year old. I’ve been on four missions trips, volunteer at Golden Acres, and have a passion for loving on the lost. I’m excited to bring beautiful photos, thought provoking articles, and a new spin on news to CCA this year.
My name is Jessie Gushue and I am a junior at CCA. I serve as a writer and Copy Editor for The Messenger, covering the local, national and international news, as well as CCA’s Discipleship news. Writing has always been a great outlet for me, as it helps bring order to chaos and is a great way to talk to God. Writing is a complete blessing, and I’m so thankful God has given me this gift. Aside from writing, I ride horses and enjoy volunteering at a barn for therapeutic riding sessions. Getting to teach and help kids has brought me so much joy and inspiration.
