Who says reading doesn’t pay off? Here at CCA, books do that and a whole lot more! Elementary and middle school students are learning through the Accelerated Reader Program that reading books is a cool thing, especially when they get to accumulate points with each book that they read.

The AR Store, located outside the Library, exchanges points for prizes which have been donated by families, and range from books to ice cream coupons. The elementary school has a goal of 30,000 AR points. For this school year, they’ve earned a total of 11, 744 points! WOW! Way to go, guys!
